What is the best clothing to wear at the gym?

The key to your women’s sportswear is the right material. Ultimately, your sportswear at the gym should be as breathable as possible. We therefore recommend polyester or polyamide as materials for your women’s sportswear. But more on that in the next paragraph.
Moreover, you should choose the right size for your sportswear. Because your women’s sportswear should fit like a second skin, but not be too tight.
A sports bra is an essential part of any women’s sports outfit and it should never be overlooked. Without it, especially if you have a larger bust, you are likely to experience back pain. A sports bra offers you the best possible support for your workout.

What is the best fabric for women’s sportswear?

As we outlined above, a sports outfit made from polyester is recommended. But why are polyester or polyamide fabrics suitable for your sports outfits?

Polyester is very breathable and ensures that sweat evaporates quickly.
Furthermore, polyester is less abrasive and therefore better suited for endurance sports.
Polyester is not only water-repellent, but also wind-repellent. Nevertheless, the material prevents the release of your body heat during sports thanks to small air cushions and is therefore very popular as outdoor sportswear for women.

Which sportswear for women should you choose if you sweat heavily?

If you tend to sweat a lot during exercise, always choose breathable sportswear. As already described, polyester wicks away moisture and your sportswear continues to feel pleasant on your skin. In addition, you won’t perceive your sweating so strongly with breathable women’s sportswear.

How often should you wash sportswear?

Is it really necessary to wash sportswear for women after every workout? That depends. What’s important is to take your fitness clothing out of the gym bag at home and hang it up to dry. After that, a classic smell test is recommended. If your sports outfit doesn’t smell, you can comfortably wear it one or two more times. Otherwise, it’s better to wash it.

Sportswear for women – what’s the right way to wash it?

Make sure you wash your women’s fitness clothing without fabric softener. Otherwise, the material can lose its breathability.
Do not use washing powder or mild detergent for your sportswear: only use special detergent for activewear. This is the only way to maintain the breathable and watertight fibres.
Before washing, turn your women’s sportswear inside out and close the zippers to prevent ladders and holes.
Wash your fitness clothing at 30 degrees Celsius in a mesh laundry bag with similar colours.
Do not tumble dry your women’s sportswear, and don’t hang it up to dry in direct sunlight.
