After training, it’s best to air out your sportswear instead of leaving it damp in your gym bag—often the most important step against odors. When washing, turn your pieces inside out, close zippers and Velcro fasteners, and wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. A mild detergent—ideally a sports detergent—cleans gently and protects the fibers.
Avoid fabric softener, especially with functional materials like polyester or polyamide, as it can coat the fibers and reduce breathability and moisture transport. If stubborn odors occur, soak the clothes briefly in cold water before washing as usual. For drying, hang your clothing up—air drying is much gentler than using a dryer, as heat can damage elasticity and fit. This way, your sports outfit stays functional, shape-retentive, and feels like new even after many workouts.
