GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION 

TEVEO GmbH

– hereinafter referred to as “TEVEO” – 

for the free use of the Pull-Up Challenge of TEVEO GmbH, Dr.-Zumach-Ring 6, 91522 Ansbach, 

as a participant at FITEX, 26–28 June 2026 in Paris, France, Pavilion 4 C29.

§ 1 Scope 

These General Terms and Conditions and Conditions of Participation (“GTC”) comprehensively and conclusively govern the legal relationship between TEVEO GmbH as the organizer and you as a participant in the Pull-Up Challenge. 

The GTC form an integral part of the contract that you enter into with us in a binding manner through your registration as a participant.

§ 2 Registration / Registration in the TEVEO App 

Your registration as a participant in the Pull-Up Challenge requires the following: 

  • Consent to the storage and processing of your data as part of the app registration in accordance with the separately available Privacy Policy pursuant to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 

  • Confirmation of your agreement with these GTC 

The agreement regarding your free participation in the Pull-Up Challenge is concluded through registration in the app together with acceptance of the GTC.

§ 3 Further Requirements for Participation: Including Age and Health Condition 

In order to participate in the event – use of the Pull-Up Challenge – as a participant, you must: 

  • have reached the age of 18 on the day of the event; 

  • be in healthy and good physical condition. 

The assessment of the health requirements for participation is your sole responsibility. 

However, you accept that the staff of TEVEO GmbH may deny you access to the Pull-Up Challenge if there are justified doubts, based on obvious facts, regarding your sufficient physical condition and/or health. 

Furthermore, you accept that the staff of TEVEO GmbH may only grant participation if you provide proof of having reached the age of 18 by presenting a valid photo identification document (identity card, passport, or driver's licence) where doubts exist regarding your age. 

As organizer, we reserve the right to exclude you from participation in the event at any time and/or subsequently disqualify you with regard to the ranking if, during registration or thereafter, you culpably provide false information concerning personal data, or if before, during, or after your participation in the event, you endanger or disrupt the safety of other participants, spectators, or other personnel, or the proper conduct of the event.

§ 4 Participation Risk, Liability, Limitation of Liability and Exclusion of Liability 

Participation is at your own risk and requires that you are healthy and in good physical condition. 

It is your responsibility, in case of doubt, to verify your state of health beforehand. 

By registering and participating, you expressly declare that you are aware of the specific dangers of the event and that there are no health concerns regarding your participation. 

By registering to participate in an event, you acknowledge that you may suffer injuries during participation, for example through tripping, falling, collision with equipment or protective barriers, overexertion, etc., or become infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus or other viruses. 

Subject to clauses § 4.5 and § 4.6 of these GTC, TEVEO GmbH hereby excludes any liability for losses, damages, or injuries to you and/or your property. 

TEVEO GmbH does not exclude its liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for intent and gross negligence; or for injury to life, body, or health. 

TEVEO GmbH shall be liable for the negligent breach of essential contractual obligations. Liability shall be limited to the amount of foreseeable and contract-typical damages. 

Claims arising from product liability remain unaffected. 

TEVEO GmbH assumes no liability whatsoever for lost clothing, valuables, or equipment belonging to participants.

§ 5 Data Protection, Photo/Film/Video Recordings and Image Rights/Usage Rights 

You acknowledge and agree that TEVEO GmbH may use the information provided by you for specific purposes. 

TEVEO GmbH is entitled to make audio and video recordings as well as photographs of the event. 

TEVEO GmbH may use the recordings for documentation, information, and advertising purposes in all media. 

You consent to the publication of the recordings without compensation.

§ 6 Intellectual Property Rights 

TEVEO GmbH is the sole owner of the TEVEO GmbH trademark and all intellectual property rights associated with it.

§ 6 Final Provisions, Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction 

The contract contains all agreements relating to your participation. 

The contract shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. 

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings.

We Take Data Protection Seriously 

The protection of your privacy in the processing of personal data is an important concern for us. 

When you register for our offers at FITEX, we use the personal data you provide for the administration of the prize draw as well as photo and video recordings for public presentation purposes. 

Your data will be used exclusively for the respective stated purpose. 

Your data will be treated with strict confidentiality. 

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties. 

When you use one of our services, we generally collect only the data necessary to provide our service to you. 

We may ask you for additional information, but this is voluntary in nature. 

Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide our service to you or to pursue our commercial objectives.

2. Personal Data 

Personal data is data relating to your person. 

This includes, for example, your name, address, and e-mail address, as well as photo and video recordings. 

In some cases, we require your name and address as well as further information in order to provide the requested service. 

Furthermore, we only store data that you have voluntarily provided or transmitted to us. 

When you use one of our services, we generally collect only the data necessary to provide our service to you. 

We may ask you for additional information, but this is voluntary in nature. 

Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide our service to you or to pursue our commercial objectives.

3. Contacting Us 

When contacting us (e.g., via contact form, e-mail, telephone, or social media), the information provided by the inquiring persons is processed insofar as this is necessary to answer the contact requests and any requested measures. 

The response to contact requests within the framework of contractual or pre-contractual relationships is carried out for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations or for answering (pre-)contractual enquiries and otherwise on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to enquiries. 

Types of data processed: Master data (e.g., names, addresses), contact data (e.g., e-mail addresses, telephone numbers), content data (e.g., entries in online forms). 

Data subjects: Communication partners. 

Purpose of processing: Contact enquiries and communication. 

Legal basis: Performance of a contract and pre-contractual enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 

4. Processing of Personal Data for Advertising Purposes 

Provided that you have not objected, we use the e-mail address that you provided when purchasing goods or services in order to send electronic advertising for our own goods or services that are similar to those that you have already purchased from us or made use of. 

For this purpose, we use your e-mail address, name, and order history in order to provide you with information about products that may be of interest to you based on your most recent orders. 

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and Section 7 para. 3 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG). 

You may object to this processing at any time pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR by, for example, contacting us via the corresponding link in the e-mail received or by sending an e-mail to service@teveo.com.

5. Participation in the Pull-Up Challenge 

You may participate in our Pull-Up Challenge at our exhibition stand during FITEX. 

In order to participate in the Pull-Up Challenge, you must register. 

For this purpose, we process your first name and surname, your date of birth, your gender, and your e-mail address. 

By registering to participate in the Pull-Up Challenge, you enter into a contractual relationship with us, so that the legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

6. Processing of Photo and Video Recordings for Advertising Purposes 

By accepting the GTC prior to using the Pull-Up Challenge, you enter into a contractual relationship with us. 

Use of the Pull-Up Challenge can only take place if you simultaneously agree that we may take photographs and make video recordings of you. 

The photographs and video recordings will be published as part of our public relations activities, particularly on our social media channels. 

You agree to the publication even though photographs, videos, and data may not be capable of being completely deleted. 

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

7. Prize Draw – Digital Wheel of Fortune 

If you participate in one of our prize draws, we process the following data relating to you: 

  • Name 

  • Contact details 

  • Social media profile, where applicable

8. Security 

We have implemented technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data.

9. What Data Is Processed and From Which Sources Does This Data Originate? 

We process the data that we have received in the course of initiating and executing contractual relationships.

9.1 For What Purposes and on What Legal Basis Are the Data Processed? 

Processing is carried out: 

  • for the performance of contracts; 

  • for compliance with legal obligations; 

  • for the protection of legitimate interests; 

  • and within the scope of your consent.

9.2 Who Receives My Data? 

Recipients may include: 

  • IT service providers; 

  • public authorities; 

  • or other contractual partners.

9.3 How Long Will My Data Be Stored? 

Data will be stored until the termination of the business relationship or until statutory retention periods expire.

10.1 Right of Access 

You may request information from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.

10.2 Right to Rectification 

If we process data relating to you that are incomplete or inaccurate, you may request their correction or completion at any time.

10.3 Right to Erasure 

You may request the erasure of your data if we process them unlawfully or if the processing disproportionately interferes with your legitimate interests worthy of protection. 

Please note that there may be reasons preventing immediate deletion, for example in the case of statutory retention obligations. 

Irrespective of the exercise of your right to erasure, we will delete your data immediately and completely, provided that no contractual or statutory retention obligation prevents us from doing so.

10.4 Right to Restriction of Processing 

You may request restriction of the processing of your data if: 

  • you contest the accuracy of the data, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the data; 

  • the processing of the data is unlawful, but you oppose erasure and instead request restriction of the use of the data; 

  • we no longer require the data for the intended purpose, but you require the data for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims; or 

  • you have objected to the processing of the data.

10.5 Right to Data Portability 

You may request that we provide the data you have supplied to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and that you may transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that: 

  • we process those data on the basis of your consent, which may be withdrawn, or for the performance of a contract between us; and 

  • such processing is carried out by automated means. 

Where technically feasible, you may request direct transmission of your data to another controller.

10.6 Right to Object 

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object to such processing at any time; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. 

We will then cease processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or where processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. 

You may object at any time, without giving reasons, to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

10.7 Right to Lodge a Complaint 

If you believe that we have violated German or European data protection law in processing your data, we ask that you contact us so that any questions can be clarified. 

You also have the right to contact the supervisory authority responsible for you. 

If you wish to exercise any of the rights described above, please contact our Data Protection Officer. 

In case of doubt, we may request additional information in order to verify your identity.

10.8 Am I Obliged to Provide Data? 

The processing of your data is necessary for the conclusion and performance of the contract entered into with us. 

If you do not provide us with these data, we will generally have to refuse to conclude the contract or will no longer be able to perform an existing contract and may consequently have to terminate it. 

However, you are not obliged to grant consent to the processing of data that are not relevant for the performance of the contract or that are not legally required. 

The processing of your data is necessary for the conclusion and performance of your contract.
